Halloween Fun

25/10/2018

Over the past few weeks we have been learning all about Halloween and it's origins.
It was very interesting to learn that the Jack o Lantern came from Ireland!!
We had a great time dressing up!! Check out our creepy costumes!

On the day of the mid term break, we made our very own hurricanes in a jar! We needed water, washing up liquid and glitter and a little bit of elbow grease and we were able to create our very own deadly hurricanes!!

Have a look at our pictures

News!!!

17/10/2018

We are always very busy here and we are always going lots of really cool places!!!!

Check out how some of our class got on in Dublin at the AVIVA Stadium!

So on Saturday the 13th of October, Corkbeg were invited for an Irish soccer match against Denmark in Dublin. We left Whitegate on a bus at approximately 12:30 , we stopped twice , once in Tipperary and then in Laois. In Laois everyone had some food and then after half an hour we left again. All together, I think it took about 4 hours to 4 and a half. We got into Dublin around 5pm . We wondered around for a bit until the match started. Alot of people from our school went such as Ewan, Senan, Shay Eanna, Nicolas, Cillian and myself. Even though the match wasn't great and the  weather was bad we all had a great time. We would  like to thank the FAI for inviting us to the game . The FT score was 0-0 . We arrived home at 2:30 am very tired. Corkbeg Abú
The END
